Thoughts on Vientiane Blue
We just started "Vientiane Blue" Project from Laos to the world.
The following is our business concept.
”Look up to the sky when you come to Laos. We named the beautiful blue sky of nature-rich Laos as “Vientiane blue”.
Under the blue sky of Laos, we gently grow butterfly peas with no pesticide, no chemical fertilizer, and carefully harvest the blue blooms.
In Vientiane, we produce fine blue powder with Japanese technology from the dried blue blooms.
Blue is a noble, calming and happy color. We will introduce the souvenirs of Blue Sweets using blue butterfly pea flowers from Laos to the world.
Blue color is the color that brings happiness
We produce "blue chocolate" with the hope, that people around the world will find happiness.

The butterfly pea flowers used in Vientiane Blue are managed by a Japanese NPO.It is cultivated at the “Blue Flower Farm,'' a facility for people with disabilities.

Our herbal teas use butterfly peas grown at the Blue flower farm in Vientiane to produce our products at the Lao National Pharmaceutical Factory No. 3 (PF3), which is affiliated with the Ministry of Health of Laos. PF3 has acquired ISO9001 and GMP certification, and hygiene management is conducted in compliance with them.

How To
Triangular tea bag with string.
Place one tea bag in a teapot and pour boiling water over it.
If you want to drink it as iced tea, add a little boiling water and ice. You can enjoy the color change by adding lemon.
The anthocyanins contained in butterfly pea turn blue in neutral conditions, purple to pink in acidic conditions, and green in alkaline conditions.
